Our Heroes

With the bitter temperatures in Afghanistan, the toll is great for the most vulnerable - babies and children.

Our Troops at FOB Apache have asked that we help them improve the survival rates for those in the surrounding villages.

You have been wonderful with your donations in our ongoing effort to honor their compassionate request.   So far we have sent more than 40 boxes of snow suits, hats, mittens, blankets, hats and PJs!

Here are some of the little ones you are warming this winter.

Welcome to Operation Baby Bunting!

Some Notes from the Troops...**

Thank you so much for your continued support during Operation New Dawn.  My unit has flown a flag over the skies of Iraq in honor of your dedication to the U.S. military.  We are extremely grateful.
Your generosity has proved beneficial to all of the Soldiers here.  We are now eating MRE's (meals-ready-to-eat) and do not have the luxuries that we were once used to (electricity scarce, water supply is on and off, etc)...BUT-- we do have your goodies!
Thank you SO MUCH for everything!
SGT Allyson **

All of us at FOB Ghazni & Warrior truly REALLY APPRECIATE all the items provided. Your care packages are so wonderful to receive and share with the soldiers, coalition forces and civilians out here serving.

We don't have the niceties of some of the bigger bases and your packages are always a welcome treat. We get a lot of soldiers here who get little to nothing and your packages are a sight for sore eyes to most of them.

The Survival Bracelets are the coolest. We also appreciate all your prayers - for the Soldiers and Families safety & well being.

Again, a heartfelt thank you from me and all at FOB, Afghanistan for your kindness and support!

God bless you, your supporters and the USA!!!

Thank you all so much for your support. We recently just received the two packages that were sent that included the snacks (doritos and chips with salsa and candies,) and magazines. As well as the tupperware. We truly appreciate all of your support and look forward to mail call every time mail comes in.

We are starting to get settled into our new home and take each day as it comes.

Again, we appreciate your support and hope to hear back from you soon.

Thank you again,

PFC  Jason **

Thanks for your special gifts, candies and food items sent in several care packages.  It's people like you that brighten our day and make the journey here a little easier to tolerate.  Thanks from the bottom of our heart.
